Accredited Certificate Program in Lease Audit
This is an intensive five days lease audit course (can be spread over 5 weeks, one day per week, 35 hours in total) that trains commercial leasing practitioners to perform lease audit on behalf of the company. Our instructor can go to your company or students can come to our campus in Mississauga, a hotel in the city where you reside, your local library, board of trade or any place suitable for you (subject to availability and college's approval) at your convenience. Distance learning is also available.
This program is accredited by the Association of Canadian Lease Auditors and can top up the academic qualification in getting their Certified Lease Auditor designation.
At the end of this program students will be able to:

The Leasing Document
• Landlords rights and obligations; their limitations
• Tenants rights and obligations; their limitations
• The concept of privity
• Reasons for discrepancies in rental payment
Module 4
Court Cases and Relevant Laws
• Basics in contract law and other legislations that affect lease audit
• Loopholes of and common mistakes in contract law and other
legislations
• Common legal English language used in commercial leasing
• Legal concept behind some court cases regarding commercial leasing

• The background of lease audit
