Court Cases Study - Commercial Real Estate Leasing by Distance Learning
This is a two days intensive course that talks about the important issues of commercial real estate leasing. Students have one to four weeks to complete this program and can take the advantage of distance learning (correspondence) so that they can work and study at the same time.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this course students will be able to:
Ø Understand how case law, common law and contract law apply to leases Ø Be more alert to legal implications of clauses omitted or wrongfully drawn Ø Avoid drafting unenforceable or ambiguous commercial leasing clauses Ø Apply basic rules in drafting good leasing clauses Ø know the rights and obligations of landlords and tenants under the law
