Flexible learning: classroom, your office, hotel or distance learning
Our mission is to help students to add value, quality and competitiveness to their respective organization and future career – by developing their professional knowledge through customized and practical courses with real life examples and applications. Fox College strives to offer students the best education through continuously updated contents in line with market changes and will only Stop at Perfection™.
Fox College of Business provides the most flexible learning methods to students in Ontario, our instructor can go to your company or students can come to our campus in Mississauga, a hotel in the city where you reside, your local library, board of trade or any place suitable for you (subject to availability and college's approval) at your convenience. There is no minimum number of students required in many cities in Ontario, we can provide one on one training without any additional cost. Students can schedule their classes five days a week, one day a week or by picking any five days they like. We will provide make up lesson if student is not available and advance notice is given. Students from all over the world can study via our effective distance learning mode.
All professors of Fox College of Business hold a master degree related to the field they teach, or a bachelor degree plus a professional designation in the subject they are specialized. All our professors are industry practitioners and subject-matter experts with years of experience in instructing and coaching. As a result, we are one of the few business schools that can deliver top quality programs to employees at all levels, from clerical staff to top executives.
Another edge of Fox College of Business is that we deliver practical knowledge through effective and interesting courses and programs instead of boring theoretical lectures. We named our college after Terry Fox (1958 – 1981). He was one of the Canada's greatest heroes. A humanitarian, athlete, and cancer treatment activist, Terry Fox dedicated his life to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research after he was diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma (bone cancer) and forced to have his right leg amputated 15 centimetres (six inches) above the knee. He is celebrated internationally every September as people participate in the Terry Fox Run, the world's largest one-day fundraiser for cancer research. On the other hand, fox is sensible, cautious and level-headed. It is far less pugnacious than many other carnivorous mammals: fox does not look for trouble; it does not pick a fight; if faced with a challenge, fox will calmly walk around it if at all possible. If a fight cannot be avoided (e.g. there are cubs to be protected) then fox will do whatever is necessary, and do it bravely. We try to teach our students to have a fox-like personality, that is, to be well-adjusted. Fox College of Business is committed to provide superior education and training in a practical way. We offer short term courses, full-time and part-time programs, distance learning opportunities with options for certification, diplomas and professional designation. Our programs include industry specialties like Lease Audit, Commercial Leasing and Accounting to more general subjects such as Leadership, Effective Management and Interpersonal Skills. Fox College of Business is the agent of Association of Canadian Lease Auditors, a non-profit organization in Canada, for delivering some of their courses.
